We near the end of '22
A year we started in the poo
Buried in administration
Fighting certain relegation
Left for dead by Uncle Mel
Bullied by the EFL
Forced to let stars leave for free
Stripping the Academy
Strung along by a fake sheikh
And other shysters on the make
Another we did not expect
The CEO of Sports Direct
Big Fat Mike is hard to trust
Though is it that or going bust?
We’ll hold our nose and bend our knee
But he’s not quite Q’s cup of tea
A beaming Yank cuts quite a dash
But sadly Chris ain’t got the cash
With no time left we’re on the brink
It’s looking certain we will sink
Then in our hour of desperation
To save the Rams from liquidation
Comes David Clowes, our Messiah
The man to pluck us from the mire
He’s bought the club, he’s bought the ground
He’ll turn this juggernaut around
Though with just five lads on the books
This job is harder than it looks
Still no new ones can be bought
Dave asks LR to hold the fort
Loans and freebies are the plan
Like Collins, Dobs and Hourihane
Others come to join the gang
Didzy, Tom and Mendez-Laing
The season starts, we shed a tear
In thankfulness that we’re still here
The Liam style is side-to-side
Which some supporters can’t abide
Away from home we cannot score
So Liam’s thanked and shown the door
The hot seat goes to Mr Warne
Of Rotherham (though Norfolk born)
He tells the team to run and run
And don’t stop till the game is won
We wonder if this style is dated
Plain and unsophisticated
Paul says they can toe the line
Or stick it where the sun don’t shine
We’re not all sure he knows his stuff
If kick and chase will be enough
But soon he’s got us in the mix
By Christmas we’re in the top six
With Didzy dazzling in attack
Cash and Fozz like Todd and Mac
We’re coming back, it’s clear to see
So bring on 2023.

Hi guys, just wanted to take a minute to wish you a very merry Christmas and a happy year, most of all good health! These days people don't spend much time or thought on some personal words to their friends and family, they just copy and paste some random message and send it on. So after all we've been though together this year I want to thank you for your friendship and wish you a happy and fulfilling 2018 - you’re the best gymnastics group anyone could ask for.
