from Spurs at present. Goals all over the pitch, but the mix and match of Spurs woeful CBs is costing the club big time. Throw in the almost permanent absence of the supposedly best CB Romero, who is also next to useless if he is never available to play and you have one big problem, even against poor teams.
A massive spend on two quality CBs in January is an absolute must. Bank has to be broken, and that team will be transformed into winners overnight.
Spurs today should have won that game at a canter with chances, a clear penalty turned down, but once again the defence was an absolute clusterfeck. Dier the clown leading the way again. HTF has he held down a first XI place under five managers?
Anyway onwards and upwards, still top four.
COYS.
It is so obvious what is missing

Can you write Levy a letter about this, Sandy?
I do not think it is going to happen.
We've reportedly been after Milan Škriniar for at least a year. Nada has happened (Levy again).
Failing that, we're supposedly after Manuel Ugarte, a Uruguay player I've never heard of.....beware what you wish for, Sandy!
Now about Romero.... if the guy doesn't show up then Levy has got to trade him for someone who does.
And there I would fear a downgrade.
Beware what you wish for, Sandy....Levy can do worse than Dier & Sanchez.... And that's a fact.
BTW.....Perisic showed up today

It’s all well and good blaming the defence but the midfield and attackers were poor in the first half which put more pressure on the defence.

Standard for this season …shocking first half saved by an excellent second half
Everyone else know as soon as Dier gave that shinner for a corner it was going to be a goal ….?
Called it the mrs (who had no idea what I was ranting about though)

This game seemed to be in slow motion after watching the World Cup.

Not a Spurs fan but let's give credit where credit is due.
Spurs, after going behind 2-0, coulda/shoulda won this game in the closing minutes. They never gave up, like some other PL teams would have done!

Dier was horrendous. Backed off for the first goal, and contributed to the second goal with an absolute howle of a supposed clearance. Tanganga was out of his depth.
Defence were 100 per cent at fault. They are all useless.
