Lincoln City v Bolton Wanderers

The last game of 2022 and a trip to LNER stadium (sincil bank). A good year for Bolton? Looking back to 1st January 2022 and after a 2-1 defeat at Rotherham at the halfway stage in the season Bolton were 16th and 17 points from the play offs. Today Bolton are 5th with 10 more points and no matter the result tonight will end 2022 in a top 6 position so progress has been made mainly due to the recruitment in January. With the transfer window open in just 2 days speculation is rife as there will be outgoings(John, sadlier, bakayoko even Trafford) as well as incomings(ward). Team news. The injury list is clearing and with another away game in 3 days time the full squad will be needed. Only thomason unavailable as Jones and Santos have returned to full training. Kick off 7.45.

I wondered what all that noise outside the window was all about last night. Happy new year everyone.

First silly transfer rumour if the year. Bolton interested in signing tom eaves from Rotherham.

If evatt has anything about him he will give sadlier a 3 match run in dapos position. 3 matches not just one and drop him or play him at wing back.

Dapo is a silly boy. he now faces a three-match ban at a crucial part of the season.

What possesses players to do such silly things? It's beyond me.

A happy New Year to all our posters. Despite the situation our government and other factors have placed the country in, I hope that you all have every prosperous 2023 without any hardship.

No pressure for tomorrow, not with us finishing today below the dotted line in 7th.

Dapo banned for 3 games and I'm fairly sure it's league games and he will be available for the Portsmouth cup match.

What's all this about the state of our pitch.
Is IE grasping at straws or losing his marbles. Have you seen the price of new pitch these days.

How long ago is it I commented on the state of the pitches at Lostock. I was asking us to move training into the stadium so we could practice and train on the pitch they will play on, as opposed to Lostock where the pitches are different sizes with different grass and conditions.

Whatever happened to playing through the puddles and using them to your advantage. Has IE never picked gravel out of his knee's at ht and carried on the 2nd half with blood trickling down his legs.
IE obviously didn't play at Burnden when the undersoil heating had been leaking on the left wing.

If he carries on talking like this, IE is going to have to go the same way the Earl of Derby went outside the Man and Scythe.

The chair that the Earl of derby sat in before his execution was still in situ in Ye Olde Man and Scythe.

Perhaps it's waiting for IE.
