It’s certainly crossed my mind, guess he won’t be fit for the Gillingham game so he’s not cup-tied. His knee seemed ok at the darts event he was photographed at.

Which knee does he throw his darts with?

It's highly suspicious but maybe we're reduced to being a bit paranoid given how awful the club's management of player contracts and finances has been recently?

It's certainly tempting to cash in on the player now to get a good payment, but what if him going makes the difference between survival and a descent to the Championship? Not much value in selling Madders this month if that latter horror scenario occurs!

I also recall reading somewhere that he wanted to wait until the summer before making a move such that he's aware of what European football may be on offer next season at any particular club who may be bidding for his services?

We'll see in due course I suppose.
