The more you see that goldson save the more ridiculous it is that 2 referees didnt give it
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Tom English's report about the match on the BBC site

Fook all mention of Goldsons handball

Nothing to see
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I actually think you are serious

Serious but unstable.

Just watched the highlights and as bad as that pass from Morelos was, Tav should have easily dealt with it. Then for the second Celtic goal there were opportunities to put the ball out of play but dithering and uncertainty created the chance for them.

In terms of the penalty shouts, Starfelt's lunge was a clear penalty. Took Sakala's foot away from him and anyone who thinks otherwise is seriously kidding themselves. Goldson had his hands protecting his face which is a perfectly normal place to have your hands, but by the way penalties have been awarded the last few seasons we got away with one. The rule is nonsense, but it's the rule.

Starfelt appears to be far more talented than anyone knew.

He knew where Sakala was going to put his foot, so put his there first deliberately to impede him.

On top of that, Sakala standing on Starfelt’s foot hurt Sakala’s shin, which made him roll about.

I see the argument for it being a penalty, I’m not convinced about it though. Neither am I convinced that Collum shouldn’t have suggested another look at it.

Goldson putting his hands in front of his face was as obvious as they come, and I’ve never know that to not be given as a penalty.

Well, except for today obviously.

Well said. Collum bottled that decision. He's a disgrace.

I'm all for the sfa protecting their refs who have to make instant decisions but there's no reason not to have full transparency on the var stuff.

Rangers did well today but couldn't beat an off form Celtic team with a lot of players struggling with illness.

Saw nothing to suggest that Beale is anything other than a spiv. He'll be found out before long.

It's easier to give decisions against Celtic because it will get next to no coverage, disappear into social media only, Celtic fans will just add it to a list of injustices and scream bias while Rangers fans claims it evens itself out.

If it went against Rangers it ends up in court, gets plastered all over the media for weeks and used as evidence of inappropriate rules.
