A tough test for Bolton who have just 2 wins in 8 which has caused them to drop out of the play off positions to 7th although a win today will send Bolton back to 5th and level on points with Barnsley. Afolayan is out suspended after being given a 3 match ban for elbowing a Lincoln player on Friday night. Thomason is out either for the season or to march depending on which throwaway line one reads in the ben. 2nd choice keeper Dixon is out with a knee injury. Sheehan should be available plus Isgrove, Jones and Santos are fit again. Kick off 3pm.

If the loan signing comes in then that's 26 first teamers. May have to be players deregistered in February if we can't shift any out. One rumour I seen is sadlier to Tranmere on loan.

One in and another to arrive on Monday. Matters are shaping up on the transfer front. I hope that they can make that important difference that we need.
We are in the part of the season that we really need to push on and collect as many points as possible. At least we aren't as far adrift as we were last season.
We are in the mix so what can we achieve? I would accept a promotion through the playoffs. It would be difficult to get automatic promotion but it isn't impossible.

I have a feeling we need more machines, to assist in the team selection.
With all the stats, facts and figures these days. Perhaps we should be the first to go fully AI in team selection.
We've done well in the past investing in technology, why not give it a go.
Just make sure we use the version which doesn't use the local rag player ratings.
