What trophies are we talking about? As we do go close, and have won in living memory, domestic cups. Good chance that we’ll go close in the league cup this season as well.

The league and CL is a different matter. But we’ll have to wait and see who buys the club. As that could potentially be resolved quite quickly if we have the funds to bring in the players needed to close that gap.

Kane would make a huge difference to United because he’s an amazing striker. Look how he’s dragged a pretty average bunch of Spurs players up the league the last few years.

Kane is terrific. Age for modern players is not big of a concern, they still perform just as well if not Better. Any team signing Kane will be looking to get 3/4 years from him, & tbh I think it’s a good investment

I just can't see him in a United shirt, not sure why.
Thuram for me, good and will get better under Erik.

I still think City or possibly Newcastle if they really push on over the next 18 months when his contract is up.

I get what you are saying but the feeling is Kane doesn’t want to be a piece in a jigsaw ….he wants to compliment an already completed one

I've got a bad feeling about man united.
They're on their way out of the wilderness imo.

He's a world class player in a position in which top of the line players are in short supply. But I'd echo the caveats around the age versus transfer fee trade off and the impact that might have on other transfer targets for other positions in the squad and first 11.

He'd be absolutely brilliant though and I'd certainly not shed a tear if it happened!
