Mr Potter has grown on me even more since his arrival at Chelsea, loving the way he is faaaacking their schitt up and dragging them back to their pre lottery win levels.
Keep going Graham you little beauty
You’re a wizard Graham

He’s had some rotten luck with injuries, lost mount in training, then Sterling after 5 mins followed shortly after by pulisic

Difficult to say really we have about 12 injuries currently...he wasn't my choice but he needs a chance with players to pick from

Too soon. If you pretend Potter's run so far was still Tuchel (which isn't that hard, desperately), then serious arguments could've been made yeah

I think given time that Potter could do a great job, you would probably spend less and produce more organically.
The issue is, his style goes against what Chelsea have been doing for a couple of decades and so it might take him 2 -3 years to start producing results - if he finishes 8th or worse this season then there will be a sizeable amount of Chelsea fans that just won’t stand for that, start slowly the following season and he is done.
I just don’t think it will work, a square leg in a round hole

The issue isn't so much us, most Chelsea fans expectations are on the floor right now. The issue is him having not done this at the club like us before. Big reputation, international players that will need more than his track record of building up a Swedish team & doing well at mid-table PL clubs at their peak, to be convinced to stick with him if they're not buying what he's selling.
Spurs is like a soft landing for this type of pressure. It definitely exists but it's not hardcore intense, and there's a general ethos within the club that whole sections of the fanbase still subscribe to, that playing aesthetically pleasing football alone is enough, which is a nice get out of jail free card to buy time.

Potter and Chelsea just don’t mix in my opinion - 2 worlds colliding

I kind of agree with this.
If we swapped managers right now, in the short term I think both of us would actually improve considerably.

Tbf you just haven’t got used to the new reality of Chelsea.

Not anymore - Conte got us CL first season, we’re a couple of points off 3rd now yet we have fans who want Conte gone - I don’t think our fans would give Potter 3 seasons to build something and rightly so

Its disgusting how Chelsea continue to spend way beyond their means and with seemingly no ffp restrictions. I am assuming the £1.5b or so they were gifted by Abramovich has been written off in their takeover and any subsequent ffp has mysteriously disappeared also. It`s downright disgraceful and unfair that they are apparently being given a clean slate after building a squad with billions of dirty money.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That's what we expect to hear from Spurs 'fans'.
According to Sandy, and his socks Steve F, Luka etc. Our spending days were over.
In fact Todd is spending more than Roman. Badly so far but we have a DoF now
