I have to say this is a very poor attempt at parody with little subtlety, nuance and, crucially, no laugh out loud moments for the reader. The author has strayed into the realms of cringe with this debut effort and would be advised to hone his craft before attempting a second bite of the cherry.

Sandy clones in various guises are ten a penny on this forum and, done correctly, they can be amusing. However when done poorly they fall into the irritant category and only serve to marginalise the writer from his audience. This attempt certainly parks itself in the latter spot, very much receiving a ‘must try harder’ sticker and the wooden spoon.
