3rd Round day

One of my favourite days of the football calendar today. With Ten 1st team players out, including 3 of our most influential, the odds are against us progressing to the the next round.

45 years ago yesterday we were underdogs again, with not many giving us a chance of being in the draw for the next round but then this happened.

Still among my top 10 all time favorite games and a terrific atmosphere that day. Hope the younger players can emulate a result like that again but as long as they put in a performance to match midweek it should be a good game!

Great day watched from the old West Stand but 1997 just edges it for me, again from the old West Stand.

I do not think today's game would be remembered in 45 years but you never know. Horrible first half
