i thought GG would be a useless big dumpling but tbh he's been a pretty good signing, scored a lot of good goals for us and a couple of important ones as well.

think we look better against rangers with him up top over kyogo but thats just me.

if we are looking at other strikers, which we all said we needed after our champions league run, then its only natural he should want to leave. He's not getting a run in the team just now, can't see that improving with 3 strikers.

It was a strange comment as we've bought 3 players already. One has featured and done quite well and the manager clearly wanted all 3.

I'd say it's been a very good window so far.

I'd be interested to see anywhere that someone has said GG would fetch £15M. Of all the players we have ideas that they may well develop into a big money sale he has never been in the conversation.

As for any players valuation it will always vary depending on the sellign club and buying club and what the player means to each of them. Take Juranovic for example, as a minimum he is worth £6-7M but as we have 2 other right backs is not critical to our immediate future. If say a Barca or Chelsea were interested then getting the right player could mean the difference od CL or even winning the league so the value of getting a quality player could be £10-20M. If a team with aspirations to get there but aren't yet there then they won't gamble £10-20M especially if they have a limited budget.

I think Celtic should be looking for £10M plus for Juranovic simply due to the fact he was a stand out player at the world cup and a semi finalist. However, we should not play silly games i.e. if offered £7M and we reject it then we have his wages to cover until the next transfer window so will end up at a loss due to having brought in Johnson
