Semis are either side of the Reading game. Would be nice to get Forest or Wolves to give a bit of rest to the first teamers.

City, Palace and Arsenal before the first semi is a tough run that will need the first team playing hard in all three.

Pellestri is a much better player than Elanga and (whispers) Antony. He really should have more games. If Sancho was taking games it would be different but this seems like something personal with ETh

Pellistri was injured for pretty much the whole early season until the world cup

it's why he didn't go on loan last summer

I didnt see the game but sounds like Casemiro, Rashford and Pellestri impressed.

Good result. On to the next one.

I don’t think it’s personal. Pellistri just isn’t very good. He didn’t even standout for the u23’s, by all accounts.

Elanga isn’t very good either and gets plenty of chances when injuries or rotation come into play. Or he did until Garnacho announced himself.

Yeah I know, they are both crap.

Ten Hag says Dalot came off "as a precaution" and says club are still doing "final investigations" into Van de Beek's knee injury. Asked if he can provide an update on deal for Weghorst, replies "no, unfortunately I can’t."
