Anyone know this “Football Benchmark" organisation?
Reliable?
Key takeaways from the report:
- English champions Manchester City FC lead all clubs globally in total operating revenue generated for the second year running (EUR 731m), slightly outperforming UCL winners Real Madrid CF (EUR 714m).
- The largest year-on-year percentage improvement in operating revenue was seen by AFC Ajax (+51%), mostly thanks to reaching the Round of 16 of the UCL.
- The report also premiers Paris Saint-Germain FC’s financials. The club recorded the highest commercial income among all European clubs and registered the highest staff costs ever reported by a football club (EUR 728m).
- Manchester City FC lead the pack with club-record profits, with FC Porto on the next step of the podium. Real Madrid CF and FC Bayern München have also managed to register net profits – two clubs that have successfully recorded positive results in all pandemic-impacted seasons.

Their wage bill for their front 3 alone is probably more than most other clubs in total.
A total and utter farce. And I know you don't like hearing it but I don't trust City's accounts either given the amount of smoke there has been on falsified sponsorship deals and payments being made off the books.

Agreed. City's owners have form for fudging the numbers and using sponsorships to pump in funds they wouldn't have received otherwise.
It is possible they're now legit but it's highly unlikely

It's just madness.
Chelsea I believe (not sure if now as we been crap last two years), have the second highest global following on socials after utd (UK teams).
If we started earning more revenue than utd/madrid etc i'd be calling BS.
Just nonsense "sponsorship deals" put together.

Everything City do financially is underhand. They are one of the most, if not the most corrupt club in the world with their crooked financial backers.
