Once again wer are waiting........

I find myself sitting at here and slowly getting more and more angry. We are 11 days into Jan and no peep out of the club about any new players coming in where we need them or any of the shat leaving.

With Jan approaching surely Paraticci, Conte, Levy would have agreed on targets and come 1/1/23 be ready go for them. Once again it appears from the outset we look like we are going feckig it up royaly. Makes me so angry as a blind man can see which positions we need better players in.

Even if we manage to bing anyone in before end of Jan now we get the usual oh it will take time for them to settle BS from Conte. So don't expect to them play before end of Feb.

We seem to do this everytime.........

Hopefuilly Paraticci will pull a few rabbits out of his hat like he managed with Bents and Kulu..... but we defo need them in the positions required.... CB (two would be nice), a RB/RWB and a proper creative MID player who can pick a pass etc..... and if we are being really greedy a new Keeper.

Heres hoping.

Spurs needed two CBs as a priority, and should have had deals sorted for them by the 1st January. So doubt now any will be coming in, and Dier and Davies will continue to plod around the pitch.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Priority in defense is RWB and Porro is seen as one of the best in the world in that position so it makes perfect sense to try to get him.
There is also a new urgency in getting someone who can fill in for Deki, as when he is injured we are left with Sonny and Kane, but Sonny is having a massive loss of confidence and form. We don't score goals, we don't win.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Well any team in the world if they don't score goals, they don't win. Scoring goals is not a problem for Spurs. They are the 3rd top goalscorers in the Prem, even though Son has gone missing most of the season.

We need CBs but who can we get?

You could make a case for any of the 3 at Inter and Dumfries at RWB but are they going to sell when well placed in the league and still in the UCL?

Its not as easy as selecting our targets, and getting them in on 1st January. Be realistic Sandy FIFA 23 this is not. Even City bought Laporte on 30 January a few years back.

The Trossard one reeks of an unambitious Gylfi Sigurdsson type deal. He's 28, has no growth or sell on potential and I really can't see where he fits in. Once again, we're improving the bench over the first 11.

Trossard is much better than Sigurdsson

Not convinced by Trossard....but would not be concerned by buying an attacking options for the squad as at times we need to change it up in midfield and this sort of player adds that option. If we ever play a 3 then we need someone who can play behind the front or at least allow Deki to move central.

The way ENIC do transfer business is just so frustrating, they operate like a bottom 6 club rather than a top 6 club

Southampton have signed 2 decent players and they are bottom - now beating Man City though

We operate like a non league side mate

Its easy to identify mid range players who will improve a shiiit side like Saints. We want a quality CB. They are are expensive and in short supply and in demand. Look at the striker market, how many top strikers are out there, Chelsea and United both need one, LFC had to pay fortunes for Nunez who's average, and chelsea have spent a fortune on 2 and now loaned a third who probably doesn't suit this league and will take time to adapt.

It aint that easy at the top end of the pyramid.

We are waiting for Kulu and Bentancur to come back from injury so they can be our January 'like new' signings.

Can't say I was ever expecting much. I'm hoping we can make at least one new signing but not holding my breath.

Spurs have been looking for a striker for almost a decade. It ain't that easy at the top end of the pyramid but it ain’t that hard either, not that Spurs are at the top of the pyramid anyway.
