David De Gea

Is he the worst goalkeeper in the Premier League? He's made major goalkeeping errors this season. More than any other keeper in the league.

Surely it's only a matter of time before Alex Ferguson drops this 18 million pound flop?

Benzeguero

I agree he went OTT then. But I think man u fans should stop trying to push the criticisms away from de gea to szczesny.

I truly believe some of your fans think szczesny is quality you are just scared to admit it

iV wILsHeRE iV - Everyone who plays for Arsenal will soon be playing for Barcelona because they have "Barca DNA". If it is not Barcelona then surely it will be Man City cause then they are guaranteed to play with Jesus Christ himself. (U9880)

I agree, Szczsney has been the better keeper this season. DeGea looked very nervy in his first few games, lacking in confidence. But his showing vs Stoke was excellent. The two saves he made in the 1st half saved the game for United. Szchesny has hardly put a foot wrong until his blunder vs Spurs. It was not the time or place to make your first error of the season.

I agree but that hardly makes him a poor keeper does it.

IMO De Gea, Szczesny and Hart are three young keepers with the brightest prospects in England.

De Gea needs to improve his handling though and confidence
Szczesny needs to be in better positions for long shots

That strike by Walker was wicked! It dropped at just the right time to confuse Szcezney!
He should have probably saved it, but it was a crazy shot!

"De Gea cost....well...Torres is a bargain."

Benzeguero, Szczesney played a full season at Brentford and made 0 mistakes and kept infinity clean sheets. I know because I watched every single one of their matches

Similar mistake DeGea made vs Man City. His feet moved far too late, error of judgement. The trouble with DeGea is that he cost 18m. For that sort of money, people expect perfection. If he cost 1m, fans would cut him a little more slack. Judge him at the end of the season, not after a handful of games.

Szezesny first game was vs Man Utd and he was full of confidence, not a foot wrong. Yes you can get nervous in your first game but szezsny got more confident, ability... than De Gea. No doubt

Also it is thier full season for both of them. ATM Szezesnys better
