So if any of us gets an evening to ourselves, fancies an alcoholic beverage or 3 at home and wacking on a film in peace and quiet from everyone you love dearest in this world. What do you watch?
For me it's John Wick 1 or Dunkirk, with the sound up to 40! (Out of a hundred, 40 is still nice and loud on my TV) That new Maverick is up there too for me.
What do you watch in this scenario? Where you can blast the sound, feel the effects of alcohol just a bit but not too much (hence increasing your enjoyment of said movie).
Your go to film when you're having a drink

Problem with Dunkirk is that the story is quite obviously a fantasy. As if an actual country would abandon their entire standing army on a windswept beach in France to enemy fire and expect everybody with a small baoat in southern England to come and resucue them. Who they trying to kid?

Dunkirk? What an appalling film
Alien for me, or Inception

Actually the two times I tried to watch Inception I was drinking and fell asleep. This is why I stick to comedies.
I'll fall asleep to anything that isn't a comedy when drinking

Dunkirk one of the most boring movies I've seen. Couldn't finish it. Just my opinion.
My drink go to movies are Battlship and Day After Tomorrow.

Dunkirk is a great survival film! Though Alien 1 and inception are good films to watch

Now you're talking
Alien is in my top 5 movies of all time.
Not the directors cut - the original theatrical release is perfect in so many ways
