After their vital 3 points gained at the expense of West Ham on Saturday, Wolves return to Molineux to host Liverpool in their FA Cup replay.
After being robbed by ridiculous VAR decisions and poor refereeing, Wolves will be hoping for a more level playing field from the officials this time round.

The game will be shown live on BBC 1

Gem’s prediction: 2-2

Pretty disappointing evening really, agree with Tam to be honest, poor all round. Not just for the goal but Elliott just ran around untouched for most of the first half, it was like he had some cloaking device which made him invisible to wolves players as they just let him run around unimpeded doing what f he wanted.

The madness of starting any kind of forward play from as deep as possible I covered after Saturday's game but the other madness of blatantly refusing to put a ball in the box returned tonight. The utter farce with those two corners in injury absolutely did my head in.

No distractions now then, J Lo knows his strongest 11 now. He must start to get a settled side playing together with a much better understanding than we've seen so far this season and find our way to something close to 40 points and safety.

Noticed walking up to the ground tonight that all the power seemed to be off in the bit of Lichfield Street going up to Queen's Square. I guess that was related to problem shortly after kick off when the floodlights went out. Took me back to that Honved game back in the 90s.

Disappointing performance. Been a pretty disappointing season.

pretty disappointing? Thoroughly disappointing.

Another waste of a season and hard to get interested really, 20 to go isn't it and i don't think safety is. problem so hopefully we just see some form of style materialise for next season.

Disappointing performance. We did well with a much changed team at Anfield and Forest but not able to repeat that in this one. Liverpool gained confidence from going ahead and largely controlled the game thereafter.

Much better second half once the subs were in but again didn’t look like scoring. Neves by far our best player and Traore was getting behind them on the right, but in the box we offered little. Cunha livened things up a bit and Jimenez did ok but we need him to focus on being a centre forward and stop drifting wide so often. Sa had a pretty poor game, out of position for the goal and not convincing on crosses, and him and Collins are just not suited to the gane of playing out from our own box. I thought Toti was the best of the defenders.

Concentrate on the league now and seen enough of Lopetegui’s approach to be able to look forward to that and an extra attacker in Sarabia will surely help. Onwards and upwards in the league

I think Collins is fine on the ball and is probably the best centre back we have had for a long time. He'll make mistakes, but that's due to his age and experience rather than ability. Both him and Toti were good last night, although Toti could have done more to close down for the goal.

The problem we had first half was the ability to break the press. Hodge and Lembikisa weren't going to provide that option. Jonny was poor too. Moutinho doesn't pick up the half spaces like you'd want your more advanced midfielder to do. Traore doesn't provide the outlet when under pressure like he used to and Jimenez didn't really provide a target. Everyone wanted too long on the ball, mainly because the movement off it was so poor.

Second half that changed. Nunes has the ability to beat a player and is mobile. Semedo provides more of an option to pass into and is good technically to create space for him to move the ball. The introduction of Cunha provided more movement higher up the pitch. Thise changes allowed us to break the press better and were the reason we were better second half.

I had the very unpleasant experience of watching the game from the Steve Bull stand. Its hardly fit for purpose now and must be one of the worst stands in the Premier League. The facilities are atrocious and you have to queue for ages for everything including getting out of the ground. The performance of a lacklustre Wolves team did little to lighten my mood.

I’m a season ticket holder in the Steve Bull stand so I know what you mean Vinnie. The view from the seats is good but the facilities on the concourse are poor. Entrance to the stand has improved enormously over the last year, was a nightmare up to last season. Getting out is no problem for me cause my seat is convenient to the gates. I don’t bother buying food or drink in the ground because the queues are terrible and I’m not into mass produced lager. And the toilet facilities are totally inadequate. Impossible to go for a p*** when the half time whistle blows and be back in your seat when the second half starts.

There are worse grounds in the Premier League though and the away fans tend to be put in the worst areas. The away ends at Palace, Bournemouth and Everton leave a lot to be desired

Yes the view of the pitch is very good to be fair Spangles. Think my mood was affected by the game too. I really was expecting Wolves to put on a good show and right the wrongs we were subjected to at Anfield. Got to say that the support (particularly from the South Bank) was very muted. Im not going to be critical of the fans though as they have sat through some dross this season and still keep turning up.

In many ways when you look at the team selections for the recent cup games, I was more surprised at the performances at Anfield and Forest than I was at the less effective showing last night. Our first team is plenty good enough for this division under this management and I don't think its been dross since Lopetegui arrived

The Billy Wright stand is also dreadful for getting out and into the loos and bars , seats not as cramped as Steve Bull, yes the support was muted, but we started quite brightly then faded quickly, our goal expectations are on the low side to say the least which does not help to whip up a frenzy of crowd noise
