Those articles have now been consigned to the history books.
Straight into the main points though this morning.
1. All of the old squad now need outing
2. Young players need to be given a chance
3. Enic and Levy are not going anywhere, even if that is what supporters want
4. If Spurs are to change manage again, then the only candidate should be Thomas Frank from Brentford.
5. Transfers ins and outs.
6. System and formation
Right straight on to point 1.
Have any Prem club still got four or five of their starting XI from say seven years ago, still being picked now as regulars? Spurs have five Lloris, Dier, Davies, Son and Kane. Ridiculous that so many are still holding down 1st XI players having won the club absolutely nothing. All of the top Prem sides have massively evolved over the past seven seasons, and I doubt any have more than one or two still playing regularly from say seven years ago. That surely has to change at Spurs.
Kane and Son have both produced plenty of goals and moments over the past several seasons, but ultimately their time is now up. They need to be sold for as much as Spurs can get, and along with Lloris, Davies and Dier they need moving out of the door, and only then a new era will begin.
A complete break is now needed from the Pochettino era, and the new players will start afresh.
2. Spurs look to have a few promising youngsters now coming through, Sarr, in particularly looks like he could be top draw. Gil given game time as well could be an excellent player. Also this Destiny fella on loan is getting some good press. All three need to be getting regular game time from next season.
3. For those that think Enic are just going to walk away, they aint. It will happen eventually when they sell up, but it will not be happening anytime soon, so I see little point in keep saying Enic and Levy out, when it simply will not be happening right now.
4. If Spurs are to get rid of Conte, then Thomas Frank of Brentford has to be the number one target, and maybe he can bring Ivan Toney with him, just the sort of striker Spurs could do with to take over from Kane and Son. The laughable suggestion that Poch has to come back is ridiculous. That would be back to easy street, and Lloris, Dier and Davies would be at the club for another five seasons. A complete break from the Pochettino era is needed. Not a return to it.
5. Transfers, firstly ins, two new CBs, creative midfielder, another striker. Out, most of the current squad over the next couple of seasons. Definitely the five I have already mentioned, along with players like Tanganga, Skipp, Winks, Ndombele, Lo Celso, Moura, Sessignon etc
6. Formation needs to change, forget about the three CBs and wing backs. Two proper full backs, two CBs, three or four in midfield, two wingers, two strikers has to be the way forward.
So with all that mind, the team surely now has to be built around Bentancur, Sarr, Bissouma, Richarlison, Gil, Destiny, Kulu probably add in Romero, but he needs to up his game, he has been very disappointing.
Anyway keep the faith. Rome wasn`t built in a day.

You are out of your faaacking mind.
Sarr is not up to premiership. totally lost in yesterday's match.
Bissouma is a dud, no vision, no imagination, will never be a playmaker.
Have yet to see UDogie play (I assume that is your "Destiny"
Romero, a WC winner, must be wondering what the hell he is doing in this crap squad.
And no Harry Kane?
Are you totallly mad, Sandy?

One thing, and as I'm not a Spurs fan it's imo only getting rid of Kane would be mad, he's one of the best strikers around and could you see yourself getting anyone in who is as good?
I can't.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah that’s just silly reactionary nonsense.
Kane really needs to move on if he wants to win anything. Levy will have a dilemma this summer over whether to sell him.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Agree, it will depend on how much he would want for him but atm he might feel the fans would go mental if he was sold? I think Kane fancied a move when City were suitors but again not sure if he would push for a move again?
Its going to be an interesting summer for Spurs either way I feel?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Kane is nearer to the end of his contract so the ball is more in his court than it was back when City showed an interest, when it was in Levy's. All he has to do is say he's not interested in renewing his contract. Big clubs will show an interest and Levy won't want him to leave for free so more likely to sell him.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Real Madrid want Kane. He should go for his own good.

We need around £400m to fix our squad and challenge for the title, that ain't happening under ENIC
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No point. Nothing good will happen under ENIC.
Happily, Lewis seems to want to sell up. Lets hope that happens.

Sandy, isn't this the exact kneejerk reactionary article you criticised half the forum for making in the last few weeks? Yesterday was always going to happen. Take a breath and try again in a few days when you've calmed down. Selling Kane FFS. Although, admittedly, it's hard not to agree with some of the rest of the squad.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
This isn't kneejerk at all. I am just putting a few reasonable points out for discussion.
Kneejerk stuff would be saying Conte, Levy and Enic need to be gone by the end of the week.
My article is more alluding to a rebuild over two/three seasons.

Spurs will not get another Kane. But Arsenal have shown you don't need a Kane to be success. Their top scorer has like eight goals.
A new approach post Kane is needed.

We will probably lose Kane in the summer whether we want to keep him or not. Why on Earth would he stay? In which case it's best to start afresh anyway. Conte may well want to go himself.
Might need to start another project with an attack-minded manager not afraid to be flexible with his tactics. Not sure why Frank is the only manager we should look at though?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I didn't say he was the only choice. Frank is my personal choice. Poch back though would be an absolutely non starter for me.

Ted's opinion on Sarr after ONE start in the Prem is he ain't up to it. Gareth Bale wouldn't have lasted long under Ted.
