I like David Squires, I wouldn't say he's my favourite cartoonist, but he's up there.

Fair enough. He just has such a good knack for observation and having his finger on the pulse of what fans are talking about at any given time. Clearly keeps well abreast of current affairs too. Reminds me of the best stand up comedians - says things you had maybe thought before but were unable to articulate

Agreed, the speaking is better than the drawing imo.
