He makes a valid point, but as always I find myself wondering what the fack he expected when he took the Spurs job. He knew about Daniel Levy, he knew the players he was getting, yet he spends all his time moaning that there's no money and his players are sheite.

Levy probably made promises he had no intention of keeping........and Conte believed them.
Now it is crunch time.
Two weeks left in January...and the squad needs some obvious updates.
Quite possible Conte could walk before season's end.

Conte needs to ask himself some questions.

Like:
1) How can I get more out of these players?
2) Do I have the wingbacks to play 343?
3) Could I try a new formation?
4) Can I practise patterns of play to mitigate other teams and also maximise mine?

Bentancur and Perisic playing will eclipse the fact that we will play the same formation as always v City. However, for this match, it’s probably ok. Although midfield 2 probably not great - 352 maybe with Kane and Richy up top

I would contrast that with the following questions

1) How much more can anyone else get out of some of these players?
2) Do we have the defenders to play a back 4?
3) If I have a proven working formula with 5atb, why would I change it?
4) Do I have the personnel that can carry out my patterns of play?

1) I agree, most are sheite. However, Bissouma, Hojberg, Romero and Son should be playing better.

2) We definitely have the defenders to play four at the back. Emerson at RB and Davies at LB. Problem is that we have sheite wingbacks and no proper full backs - but he knew that in the summer.

3) 5 atb doesn’t work though does it.

4) If teams like Brentford, Brighton and Newcastle can develop patterns of play, we should.

He’s just not a good fit for this club. Which is Levy’s fault for not backing him. But I think it’s Chairman, manager and players all rolled into one big cluster fack.

I’d only agree with Bissoumas as one who should be playing better

As someone more intelligent than me said, I’d you are playing that back 4 you might as well be playing 4 CBS and call yourself Pulis

It’s worked everywhere else he has gone, winning countless titles when his teams weren’t expected to

I do actually think we do have patterns of play but it’s harder to implement when you play CL as well

Fair enough.

Conte is apparently wanting a substantial salary increase to sign a new contract. He is already the 3rd highest paid manager in the PL on £15m a year.

Sorry, if you want a wage increase then give us a team that is good to watch and actually tries to win a trophy!🤔
