Rightly so. The atmosphere for the Chelsea cup game was weird. We were winning but fans were silent. The fans were better against Everton but the manager is right, its all a bit flat.
Think Pep may have fallen out with some of The players. I have previously asked the question about Laporte. Thought he was decent against the Saints despite the loss but back on the bench. When I saw the line-up against United I was shocked to see Ake at CB. No Laporte. That was wild to me especially with Stones and Dias out but someone then said to me, maybe he has done that to manage the pace United have.
Cancelo is another one but he has been sheit. I actually get annoyed when some fans suggest he must be played into form. We are already trying to play KDB and Bernardo into form then add Cancelo to that mix. Fack No.
Bernardo is another one Im not sure about. He is a model professional but I have said time and time again, if he doesn't want to be in this country we must just move him on for whatever fee. He has earned it. The longer he stays its not helpful.
The rest Foden, Walker and possibly KDB have been dropped but those 3 adore Pep and I doubt they would fall out with the manager.
My worry is Pep has done this before at Barca where he facked of Deco, Ronaldinho at the same time. Also tried to get rid of Eto and couldnt. He is a temperamental manager and Im not sure the club could be ready for that. The signs have been there, the Phillips outburst was unlike Pep.
Maybe his outburst will get a reaction but Im not sure we will be consistent. He can play the hungry players, Ake, Akanji, Haaland, Grealish, Mahrez, Stones etc but as far as I am concerned we dont have a senior left back that we can play and rely on this season therefore we are forced with Ake which means all the creativity burden falls on the midfield.
Come against a team that blocks of the midfield its a struggle again. I trust Pep though, he trains the players and knows them better than us all.
Hoping this is the turning point and we go on a run.
By the way Rico Lewis WOOF WOOF
Already better than Gary Neville and he is 18
Manager has had a go at the Home fans

Don't think your opinion on the home fans counts for much if you didn't even go to the stadium.

Always thought letting Zinny go was a mistake at the time, given Walker was injured and Cancelo as we know can blow hot and cold. Zinchenko would have been more than capable for the vast majority of games this season. Instead, and although Ake has done well enough when called upon at LB defensively, we’ve often looked unbalanced, with all the responsibility falling to KDB to make it happen…

Fans only sing when there winning, happens at every ground

It will be interesting to see how the media react when there’s booing at Anfield or OT next time there’s a poor referee.
Admittedly that is a rarity

I'm not one for singing and shouting anymore but in my honest assessment, the atmosphere at City's Ground isn't the best.
What annoys me is that when they are on the concourse, pre-game, the fans are singing at the top of their lungs. As soon as most of them get in the stand they go quiet. Never got that.
That said. I've always found the atmosphere in away ends to be better. Everyone tends to be up for it.
