I thought Spurs played a pretty cynical game last night with non stop tactical fouls, and continual ‘injuries’ disrupting the game. In particular they targeted Rico, presumably to intimidate him and kick him out of the game. They picked the wrong player. What a prospect.
Also thought the ref was a joke. No real terrible decisions - apart from the Richarlison handball, but very inconsistent. Also not big on raising his arms or signalling, so half the time I hadn’t a clue what he’d given or if he had indeed stopped play. Presumably the players could hear his whistle.

A City fan going on about tactical fouls....you honestly couldn't make it up.

Amazing, isn’t it?

Big difference between tripping someone up and giving them a good kicking

Not sure there’s a difference that justifies what people perceive to be tactical fouls either and subsequently who’s particularly bad for them, most fouls are tactical.

It was only a 3 goal margin.

Every team makes tactical fouls. That's not the point. The point is that from the start the Spurs strategy was to slow the game down and disrupt it. Basically sit back and frustrate and wait for a mistake. It worked great for 45 minutes. The point is that it that the ref didn't deal with it. What happened to the much vaunted 'letting the game flow'?
But here's a question for Spurs. What's the point of Conte? You could have had kept Maureen - the football is much the same.

Everton laid a bit of a blueprint down for it when they left the Etihad with a result a few weeks back.
As for Se85. Not seen him this happy in years. And to think all that time he spends telling us he doesn’t care about City 😘

But the money they would have saved by not paying Moaninho off would have been wasted by their usual recruitment of second rate players. The tax dodger would look for savings in his financially doped club, but the big issue is that until they stop being financially dopey as well they will continue to lose to the likes of Sporting.
