By that I mean transfer rumours, new manager rumours, even facking some activity on the pitch instead of the pedestrian football we play.
How are we now 20 days into the transfer window without so much of a peep from the club about any new signings. Regardless of Conte staying or leaving, we NEED new CBs, new RB/RWB and an attacking midfield.
Have I missed the rumours?
Liverpool, Chelsea and now seemingly Arsenal have already strengthened but once again we are going to wait till the last day (if at all) by which time top 4 is probably gone. We saw what bents and kulu did last year, an early signing could have helped gained us an extra 6 points this month.
If we ever ever sort out the defence and midfield, Kane/Son will be done by then and we will be stuck searching for NEW STRIKER.

Even the Arthur Rowe side of the 50s was all about push and run. This was about dominating your opponent. Nowadays spurs rarely dominate anyone.
More often than not most of the Spurs matches are all played in spurs’ half. In the past it may have been fortuitous for Conte. But it sure ain’t easy on the eye.

Our style of play is hampered because of dross like Hojbjerg first and foremost, the middle of the pitch is where you dominate games and Hojbjerg just isn`t good enough, Southampton was his level and still is.
Our centre backs come under more pressure than most other teams because Hojbjerg always passes backwards or gives the ball away, Bentancur can not do it all on his own. Hence why the CB`s make more mistakes, they have more to do.
Some quality pacey fullbacks are also vital, not just because of their attacking output, but they also help push back the opposition wide players, which helps us dominate the ball.
A good team has many parts, but parts of ours are not good enough. If there are weak links in a chain, sooner or later the chain will fail.
