Fair point, I have really noticed that change in the way you've been playing, they bombed on all game and whether it's got something to do with the midfield maybe not being as good as it was, a tactical change or just not managing to get forward as often it really seems to be hurting the way you play?

I get that impression it's a pity really as those two were tough to deal with for other teams, pushed them right back and Mane, Fiminho and Salah had a ball with the chances they created

It's because we keep conceding goals and not scoring enough to compensate. I thought that would be obvious to anybody. We've dropped back a bit the last couple of games and I expect we'll continue with that approach hoping when the confidence is back we'll start scoring again. If things improve and the injured players come back I'm sure we'll change it again.

We've made the change too late but good to see it's going in the right direction again. I can see us going on a run towards the end of the season.

Robbo still does. Trent just sits in no mans land and trys a hollywood pass. Change it up ffs

It's tactical. Trent moves inside into the midfield to help us try to control possession. It works when you have good movement upfront and a solid right sided CM to cover. It doesn't when you have a teenage wing forward playing as a midfielder who positionally doesn't have a clue, and just runs around like a lunatic pressing from the wrong angles. Or a captain who seemingly concentrated on the WC and is in terrible form for his club. Notwithstanding the RB who just can't be bothered to defend sometimes.
