Excruciatingly painful from both sides!
Low on confidence and/or maybe a by-product of sides that have played an excessively high amount of football over the past couple of seasons and it's taking its tool now (I believe this is case with individuals like Mount, in particular). For perspective that is eighteen more matches than this season' league leaders. Burnout is a concern.
Mudryk having not made alot of appearances in his career and no gametime since November may perhaps be beneficial and work in our favour going forward, freshness and vibrancy brought to the team was evident. A bright spark, that gets one off their seat. (Suspect we'll see similar impact from Madueke when he takes to the pitch).
The speed at which Mudryk jinks into space was stupendous.
Not seen that sort of impressive speed (of thought), intricacy and incisive final third passing since the superglue...Callum Hudson-Odoi was in the side. Positive.

Speaking of Cal...will dovetail supremely well with Mudryk, Madueke, Nkunku in future from the 10 position.

Worst game ive seen between cfc Vs Lfc in around ten yrs I'd say...absolutely woeful; no surprise the awesome Brighton beat both of us!

Yeah it wasn't a great game and Mudryk did brighten things up. Chelsea had the better of the first half hour, Liverpool the second half hour and the final half hour was pretty even so the result was fair imo.
I know neither team wanted to lose but looking at the league table, they really both needed to win. The fact neither side threatened to do so on a regular basis during the game shows the issues both teams currently have.
At full strength, I'm sure it would and will improve in both cases though

Liverpool were there for the taking (they most likely felt the same regarding us) and we have our fecking GK time wasting ffs.

I thought chelsea were the better side but still scrappy. Our final ball or lack of even seeing it was poor. Mudryk set up Carney twice and should have scored. Really frustrating as i doubt Liverpool will be as bad as this ever again. Both teams really struggling.
When Thiago silva is, again, the best player on the pitch, it speaks volumes
