I am in my first season. I drew the first game and lost my second game to Arsenal 2-1(I was getting used to the defending still) and have won all other 22 matches played. But after that loss Reina, asked for a transfer request. Barca and Inter offered 30mil or thereabouts, I rejected it because I didn;t want to sell him. Then the board sold reina a few days later for 14million. I was livid at the time. Has anything ike this happened to anyone else?

The board told me to sell Aqua when he requested his transfer.
I immediately obliged. Inter came in with an offer as soon as it was annouced that he wanted out.

I bought Akinfeev he's 85 overall and got him for 13million so its not so bad. I was just a bit amazed that they sold him without my consent, and for such a low price.

I'm yet too start career mode as I've been playing online but what I usually do on fifa is correct the ratings to how I think they should be for example Lucas only 78 on the game yet in real life he is the top 3 defensive midfielders in the prem, once I've done that I'll get career mode on the go and from what you've all said it seems like I've been missing out!

What annoyed me in 11 is that you don't get given a transfer budget in January. I presume that is the same in 12?

Yeah it's the same, you can pick up a very small amount of quid from tournaments before January, but you have to sell to buy in January fort the most part.
