@DiMarzio [🥇] “The news I can tell you with certainty is that Antonio Conte will leave #thfc at the end of the season. There was no spark, his contract is expiring and the club has not asked him for a renewal."
What a club we support. If true, then Levy has wet the bed again good and proper. What is the point of Conte being here?
Are we going to make some poxy club signings or will it be a classic ENIC window of no activity?
Kiss goodbye to Kane too.
The end of Conte?

Antonio Conte has not made any decision on his Tottenham future - nothing likely until much closer to the end of the season or even once it has finished. As has always been the case, Conte wants to be sure he can be competitive to win. Still an awful lot to play for this season.

Apparently Conte has been offered the possibility of a longer contract but is waiting to see what the level of ambition is.
This is exactly what Conte should be doing, accept no bullshiete and half measures from Levy, and sign when he is satisfied the club is serious about competing.
If he leaves this summer, it will be because there is not enough ambition shown from the board, and no fans should be in any doubt what the problem is at this club, ENIC & Levy.

We all know this though. Some on here will still be blaming Conte though. If Conte had any reassurance he would be backed, he would be here longer. The fact is Levy has proven once again he doesn’t share the same ambition as Conte. Levy just wants to do everything cheaply. He lucked out with Pochettino and never built upon that. He’s a fraud as are ENIC property developers.

As far as I’m concerned, this screams of a club denial to avoid a mutiny. Matt Law will have been in touch with the club and that’s the line they’re going with. This reaffirms the fact he’s off.
This is entirely on Conte. I don’t think he deserved another contract anyway but this just proves how destabilising it is to be non-committal, not to mention the fact that it breeds caution regarding financial ambition. On this evidence, why should Levy stump up the cash for someone with half a foot out of the door. It’s ridiculous.

It's on both. Conte wouldn't commit because Levy wouldn't back him. Levy wouldn't back him because Conte wouldn't commit. Also because Levy is a twaaaat. Vicious cycle.

Conte leaving, well is this a surprise or even a story, was never ever going to be long term at Spurs or anywhere he just doesn't do that, totally wrong appointment for Spurs as were King Jose and Nuno, panic appointment hoping for instant success, now we start again, Scott Parker is available
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Even Parker isn't available. He's Club Brugge manager I think

As long as we know sooner rather than later when the season finishes or has nearly finished. There would be far too much work to do to delay this thinking Conte might be staying. I suspect he won't be anyway because I can't imagine he'll get assurances about the level of ambition shown, especially with Kane set to leave.

If Levy wants to keep Conte he has to do something to improve the defence in the squad this January.
If Levy sits tight and does nothing, then that says it all.
