And when will all these pundits and ex players stop saying "there's still a long way to go for Arsenal".

When there is no longer a "long way to go"? We're mid-way through the season. That is still a very long race ahead. Pep has his share of CL misadventures, but no manager since Fergie has been better in managing a league race. City are very capable of going on really long winning runs. The 12-pointer against them will be crucial.

Even with a drop off City haven’t looked like putting together the sort of form needed to catch them anyway.

Yep and that was what I meant at the time too - it’s the size off the drop needed given how everyone else is playing too.

The game with them at the Emirates is huge. City have to win that to have any chance of reeling them in, you’d suspect.

Yep and I doubt we would win it, they’re playing a lot better than anyone and have got a really good balance in their team at the mo.

92 points may be what's needed to win the league this season which means Arsenal will need to get 42 points from 57. Arsenal really will need to beat Man City at home. April is a very hard month for us and we need to be like 12 points clear at the top at least going into those games. After Man City play us at the Emirates next month they won't have to play any of the top 6 away from home. That could be where they go on a mad winning run.

Yeah also feel 92 points would be enough.This means we can still drop points in 6 games (3 losses and 3 draws) of our remaining 19 games.For City to get to 92 points they can then only drop 7 points from their remaining 19 games!
So essentially we can still lose the double header vs City and another game and still win the league.Though losing to City would not be good psychologically for the team I think!

Sorry City have 18 games left which makes it even harder for them!

There was once a team that ended up 3rd in a 2 horse race. We have to be careful
