The League could be done

Think the media is overplaying the City have done it before card so that we can still have a title race late in January but if you look deep into the bones of it all, Arsenal have incredible advantages all over the show. Had a quick look at the upcoming fixtures and it doesn't look good at all. A lot of emphasis on the head-to-head with Arsenal but there are some tricky fixtures for City as compared to Arsenal.

Arsenal have Everton and Villa away and Brentford and City at home
City have Spurs, Arsenal and Forest away and Villa at home.

Think back to Thursday, If we had lost to Spurs we would be 8 points behind having played two games more. If Arsenal win the 1st head to head, that's again 8 points ahead with a game in hand. That's assuming we even win our game against Spurs

Lots of Ifs but Arsenal are Heavy favourites and its blinding obvious why. Even if they get injuries to key players, they wont collapse. That shape and system Arteta has them playing is stable and another player slips in seamlessly as Nketiah has.

Long season ahead.

I said before the game if spurs got something then it would be arsenals title. I dont think city can afford any more slip ups.

seasons only half way through.

City have barely got going

Anything can still happen.

Arsenal will become "self aware" at some point and the pressure to win will be immense. That is the big question for most observers, coping with the pressure. City have done that before, multiple times so we know they can do it. Arsenal blew a 4 point lead over Spurs with 4 games to go last season, which was just pressure.

If Arsenal hold off a charging City then they will have truly deserved it, no greater test.

My inkling is that city will be in CL, akso late in the fa cup, could get an injury to haaland etc. They are already 8 points ahead if they win their GIH.

Will be interesting but City can't afford to slip up

50 points at the half way stage is pretty mad. The wheels will have to really come off for them not to win it now. It’s not as if we’re breathing down their necks either, we are not playing our best football at all at the moment. Have to say I think they look very good for it, the timings have worked out well with us and Liverpool both dropping off this season.

It's way too early to tell I think.
Our form has been crazy good but our squad is much smaller in terms of quality than can come in if we start to pick up injuries.

That being said, if we get to game 24/25 and in a similar position, I think we'd probably have enough to win it bearing in mind Pep must be desperate for the CL

City have dropped off, we’ve completed imploded

It's not the gap. There are loads of games left. It's the fact that we still look much more likely to drop points than Arsenal do. We also have the CL to focus on which they don't.

Think it’s likely done too. Arsenal have been excellent, they’ve got the best balance this year.

Well that’s it really. When you look at who is most likely to drop points inbetween now and our first league match against them, you have to say us. The amount of points we’ve thrown away after taking the league is mental this season.

They've been the most consistent team, whilst playing the best football. I don't think they have actually played poorly in one league.

I won't begrudge them the Title if they kick on to win it.
