Dramatically underperforming on expected vs actual goals per 90 - despite taking more shots per 90 than the vast majority of players in his position.

Pants expected assists but still comfortably underperforming on that too with actual assists per 90.

Literally one of the worst players in the league for passes attempted, completed and progressive passes.

Decent at dribbling and receiving progressive passes, but clearly not so great at doing anything with the ball once he gets it.

So we have a picture of a player who stays high up the pitch, gets the ball a lot in advanced positions, runs with it and then loses the ball or shoots and misses.

Just FYI this is De Bruyne - no-one is suggesting Zaniolo is in his league, but I just show this because they have relatively similar pass completion %

Danjuma looks like another off the cuff player, he will have good and bad days but little consistency imo. Off the cuff sums up our team so he should fit right in.

Zaniolo is a no for me…

Billy, will just be a squad filler. Not sure I am that keen on any player that was going to sign for another club anyway. Looks a bit like Wilian material.

Succession planning for eventually replacing Son in all probability, if Danjuma smashes it we have a replacement for Son at a good price. If he is sheite he will just go back to Villarreal

I heard it was just a straightforward loan with no purchase options, in which case Villarreal could sell him to whoever they like.
