Saw the line up but then forgot we had played by the time I saw the result as I’d been out for a curry wnd some drinks with the missus and a load of friends.
Good result. Much stronger line up than I expected, also didn’t realise we went to HT at 0-0 until I watched the highlights just not, not great.
Any injuries, or great performances to talk about? Anyone stand out?

Dion Dublin just saying what I was saying earlier during the game. Deliberate act, not a deflection, goal.
Doesn't matter tonight but the rap sheet of dodgy calls is growing

Eriksen injured. Antony had a better game, Casemiro was excellent. Defenders looked ropy enough on rare occasions they were tested, which is no surprise as there's a big drop off from first choice to second choice in most of those positions

Lee Dixon has the most fed up voice in football.

Only because Lawro got fed up with football and stopped doing commentary.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It's essentially the same voice, isn't it. The same world-weary demeanour.

Lawro’s commentary was funny, though. There was a but of charm to his ‘I don’t actually give a fack’ attitude. Always reminds me of Alistair McGowen’s impressions ripping him for it.

Alan Green just used to moan perpetually about whatever game he was at.
He also didn't even try to disguise his dislike of United.
Providing the commentary for Olympic Soccer on the PlayStation was his career highlight for me.

Good call. Alan Green was another misery. I'd happily swap them for overexcited Latin American commentators, even though I wouldn't understand them.

Bring back Barry Davis and Motty.
If they can de age actors, maybe there’s some tech where they replace the voice with the legends.
Hmm… could be onto something..

Arabic commentators are my favourite.
