So Bryan Gill is back off to Sevilla..
Spurs of course signed Bryan Gil from Sevilla, who 18 months later are set to end up with £21m, Erik Lamela...and Bryan Gil.
Great work Levy 👏
Oh and after spending the entire window negotiating for one player, the deal is off as Levy is refusing to pay Sporting £2.6m administration fee
Yay spurs
Bryan Gill

Why, when we're just discussing poor recruitment at Spurs, do you need to make it about us as supporters, Sandy? What the hell has that got to do with it? You just go looking for it, mate. It's tragic. It really is.

Any chance we could get our recruitment sorted ? It's a shambles !
Lenglet.... Poor
Bissouma.... Shadow of the player at Brighton
Perisic... Old & pretty ineffective
Spence... Waste of time & money
Gill.... The new Lamela, now heading off to Spain again
Richie.... Excellent shlthousery but not much else
N'Dombele.. Costing us a fortune, Bad fit for the PL
GLC....... See above
Royal.... Tragic
Sanchez... Tragic
PEH..,Carthorse
Reggie.... Not really missed
Doc... Had a handful of good games in 2 years
Sess.... Pathetic excuse for a footballer
Sarr..... Young, Raw... who knows ?
Our "Hits" (Bents, Kulu & Romero) Vs our "Misses" (All of the above) is truly embarrassing.
We've now signed a winger who looks OK but probably only went for him because Everton's interest alerted us to the fact he's cheap/ low risk.... Not sure he makes us better
Get your act together Levy & Co

Funny you should mention Everton because it wasn't that long ago that we were both challenging for the same league positions yet they've sinced proved that poor recruitment can absolutely get you relegated, no matter how bigger club you think you are.
If we keep this awful recruitment going and say Kane leaves, it's not beyond the realms of possibility that we end up where they are. It's unlikely but not impossible.

I dread to think of Spurs without Kane which is pretty sad when you think its supposed to be a team sport !!!
It's scary how much of a mess we are.... sadly not unexpected

Spurs without Kane won 3-0 at the weekend.
Ouch.

Oh, that's good. Nothing proves your point more than a victory away at a mid table championship side.

Because In Sandy's mind we won the Jan 30th,5th in the league, still in the Cup and Champions league Trophy. Looking back beyond the past 5 minutes or looking beyond his next cup of tea must get harder the older you get ?

Best advice to everyone on here is to completely ignore him. It's something I need to do as I know I take the bait far too often. If he's got no one left to argue with, he might stop, although I genuinely think there's a real danger he could fall out with himself, given how argumentative he is.
The funny thing is, this is a discussion forum where opinions are going to differ but he's actually not interested in debate. He's only ever in it to put his point across and then shut down anyone else that doesn't agree with him.
He's basically Piers Morgan and no one likes him either.

Many players we need to be getting off the books but yeah, let's get rid of the one who has been seeing more game time recently and showing promise at a time when we need all the strength in depth we can get.

Good little player Gil. I hope he can return an improved player able to thrive in the PL because I quite like him. May be not suited to Conte's football, but he pre-dates Conte.
No offence mate but you talk about £2.6m admin fee like its nothing. I negotiate deals as part of my job, mainly land deals. Nothing quite in the £40m bracket but if you negotiate a deal with the other party and they come back at the 11th hour and demand an "admin fee" equivalent to more than 5% of the deals worth then that is just ridiculous.
NO ONE involved in any serious negotiation will bend over and say "Oh another £2.6m, on top of the terms we've just agreed on, yeah sure, here you go" and fans who expect this club (or any club) to just suck it up really have no grasp of reality. The Lisbon owner playing hardball, but that's our fault, right?
Imagine buying a house, say £250,000, and its all agreed and then the seller says, oh, i want you to pay my legal bill, it's £1500. I know what my response would be!

👍 Spot on Devonshire!
Sporting are just trying to rinse more money out of us at the 11th hour.
However some of our supporters are a bit like sheep, someone posts some negative stuff and they all jump on the bandwagon despite not knowing the facts.
Paratici is still overseeing our transfers, it’s just he can’t handle anything back in Italy. Last time I looked Lisbon was in Portugal and not Italy.

So we've got a Sporting director committing fraud in one country, reducing our ability to buy there, and is clearly so inept at his job, it now requires his boss to take over negotiations.
Whichever way you slice it, it's not a good look for Spurs is it.

As much as the loan makes sense for Gil. We really gave 25m to Seville to just take Lamela off our hands
