Great signing.... Anyone think we might shift Royal or Doc having loaned Spence ? Cant see the point of having 3 of them when we are loaded with below par CBs ?

We were never getting rid of any of those players mid season - 3 of them are regular starters. I agree they all need to go but was under no illusions that it wouldn’t be until January.

Think he’s meant to be pretty incredible in the final third but not the best defensively. He was the best player we faced in the CL this season if that means anything.

So in other words cannot defend to save his life. And what do Spurs need more than anything defenders?

You really need to broaden your football horizons Sandy. You are going to love this guy, Porro and Romero on the right side of our defence will be stalwarts for years to come.

This guy is a modern wing back/Full back, he can cross very well, he can shoot, he can pass and move, he can press, he can tackle, he has perfect positioning - Sporting rate him as their best player. He was outstanding against us in the Champions League.

The reason we didn’t have much competition for him is because all the other rich top sides bought or secured good players in this position ages ago - Baldy kept going cheap.

When Udogie comes in the summer we will be a CCB and a LCB away from a strong defence. Just need a keeper after that.

One thing about playing 3 DC's is that your wingbacks can get a bit more licence to bomb on, I saw him against you and RWB is defo his best position, could very well be fine at RB but if Conte wants to continue with the 3 DC's then a player like him will improve you, get a top DC now or the summer and that will help as well

Keep hearing chatter about Hincapie.... anyone know anything about him ?.... would think that either Sanchez or Taganga would have to go first ? Would love to know what Levy values Sanchez at ???

We must be low on homegrown players already, so not sure we'll be able to get rid of Dier and Davies anytime soon.
