We've gone from very little net spend to a large net spend this Jan, and its a sea change compared to previous Jan transfer windows.
Lllorente and possibly Harrison going would make sense as then this Jan the net spend goes back to zero, we'll see.
Philips, Raphinia, Gelhardt, Drameh out so far
Robles, Rasmus, Adams, Aaronson, Sinisterra, Roca, Gnonto, Rutter, Wober, Perkins, Mckennie in so far, makes a mockery of Orta's claims that we're keeping small squad.
This is a complete overhaul of squad in double quick time, a sure sign that the manager has full support from club.
I'm not suite sure where they all fit in at same time, but at least we have cover attacking-wise and midfield-wise too.
Surely we should be pulling away from relegation zone now.

A small squad just doesn't work in the Prem. None of the other teams have a small squad.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Our first team squad at the end of the last window was 21 players over 21. Man City's squad was the same size, Southampton's was 18, Everton's 25, Brighton's was 19. Clearly size isn't the determining factor here.

I just cant see how with 18 months left on his contract, its viable to keep him

take your point, think we have lots of attacking talent - it's the central - aaronson - role that's looked the weakest and jack has looked good there in my view. Might be why Zaniolo is of interest as he can play 8,10 and wide. but they may also think our other attacking options are adaptable enough to do the same.

Most of those have barely played in the prem. It would be a risk to sell him we dont need - and to Leicester a rival - no thanks.

I wouldnt sell him, but just from the amount we have spent, and hia contract situation. Unless something has really really changed( ie 49ers pulling the strings totally) Id be surprised if he stayed

Need to acknowledge the Diogo Montiero arrival. Know next to nothing about the lad but hope he does well.

I love the players we've brought in this window and with a healthy bamford were better than more than half the league.
A work in progress with almost all the players showing some kind of promise. Even firpo and Raz look better surrounded by better players
My only fear is a big one, Marsch.
Don't feel he's the man to take us up the table, hope I'm wrong.
Aaronson over Harrison? Not for me but it looks likely.

Jack is a form player who goes through periods when he is in the doldrums and others when he is red hot. Looks like he rediscovering his best form at a time when we are considering his future. Think it was Wakey who said he has a world class first touch. We should be making it easy for him to stay and trying to coach him to be more consitent. Better than Aaronson and Sinistere. Keep and get shot of the other two.

we need depth and in my opinion sinisterra provides that. aaronson should try out for the track team, just runs around a lot.

Maybe he will go but if he does then we need much more than £20m for him. Especially if we are selling to a close rival.
Hopefully Newcastle come in for him if he is to go but I think they like the look of Maddison if we let Jack go to LCFC.
Don’t go to bed yet!
I’d keep him though and offer him a new contract.

Pleasantly surprised we kept Jack.
