Worst Player who should have been brilliant

Exactly as it says - who did your team sign that you thought was going to be brilliant but was a failure. Either in performance, value for money or whatever.

Celtic's could be Berkovic, Juninho, Keane, Bangura, Boerrigter etc

For me the one I was excited about signing but never cut it was Charli Musonda. An exciting young player who's first few minutes had everyone out of their seats but from there was nothing short of a let down.

Any older players? I remember Cascarino being a let down
A few I'd give a pass to - Roy Keane was actually a good player for us but just a short one. Robbie Keane was a great signing in the wrong team, Juninho wasn't used the way he could have been as we were very direct as a team then.

Moving on from Ramsey (still hurts clearly)

Francis Jeffers had his “fox in the box” rep when he came up here…$hite

Barton….definition of a walloper

His pal Senderos….dear god

Rothen…was in Paris about a year before we signed him, and his face was plastered all over the Nike store on the Champs Elysees…..he then came to us and was utter dog$hit

Worst ever though……
Has to be Alan Gow and his white hat

An absolute classic. JJB in Clydebank has never been so popular as a search

When you sign a dutch internationalist from Bayern who had played a fair bit for both you would at least expect him to be able to control a ball

I loved him as a player. I was one of few who believed in him early on while others weren't so sure.

Until he scored the 5th in the 5v1 drubbing of Joey Barton. Ghod tried to winch me just because I was an Armstrong fan - at least I think that's the reason
