Spurs have not improved their defence one iota with this signing.

Morning Sandy, I would have loved a couple of quality cb's but although our defence is far from perfect it must be hard with liability Lloris behind them.

If we were to take off Hugos howlers and maybe 50% of the goals that aren't regarded as keeper errors but we all find ourselves thinking "could he not have done better with that" (like Arsenal's second) we'd comfortably be in the top 4.

I think we should coincide our new defence with a new goalie this summer and until then just try and outscored the opposition because until Hugo leaves clean sheets will be a rarity in the Prem.

I like the two players we've signed and I"m happy that Spence and Gil are gonna get minutes somewhere else. Unlike Ndombele and Lo Celso I'd like to think that neither are finished at the club and a future manager will give them more of a chance.

Doherty is a shame because in the weeks leading up to his injury against Villa he was playing well but he has never looked like recapturing that form this season and he's 31 so that's the way it goes.

I'm not as against Royal staying as many of out supporters are but as Conte won't play a back 4 we will never see him at his best.

Don't shoot me for this but I read somewhere that he should be tried as a right sided cb in a 3 and I don't think that's a bad idea. His defending isn't a problem but what he can't do in the final third certainly is.

If he wasn't going to sign a new contract he would be gone by now wouldn't he?

I suspect Kane is happy, but if not he can leave. I suspect our players are happier than a lot of our supporters that moan 24/7.

The defence is abysmal
The goalie needs replacing
We have god knows how many players out on loan
The women’s team are craaap
The academy is craaap
Highest prices in the league for anything.
Manager likely to be off in the summer
Best player entering last year of his contract

But we were 2nd in September and we were in all the cups in October.

Yes the window has been poor, that does not mean I don`t think Spurs are going in the right direction. As I have already pointed out, Spurs are having a half decent season. So what`s the problem?

Yeh Conte is 100 per cent staying. I don`t get why some of our supporters don`t get that.

This late announcement is classic Levy. If the signing was confirmed yesterday or early this morning, fans would be clamouring for more signings but as it is, it's too late.

Exactly, just look at how many continue to fall for the bullshiete of DL, whereas most of us can see straight it.

We can only pray for a QSI style investment or similar, we are going no where under ENIC`s way of operating.

He won't even have to be any good to improve Spurs.

I'd rather we signed nobody than another wasted CB (our biggest issue at the moment) so im happy with this window, 7/10 for winter transfers. Upgraded a forward, got rid of deadwood and signed a starting RWB. With Udogie joining in the summer our goal should be CB x2 and if Danjuma does well turning perm. We need to look for GK too. Lloris as 2nd would be fantastic but he will start in most other clubs further down.
