Only if it was critical, you're assuming that if any exemption is granted it will cover that. I doubt it, but every little helps. Isn't that why you generate revenue through pop concerts and other sports these days.

Don't worry they tend not to grant us any favours, remember 10 December 2021, Tottenham v Brighton I believe. You had 8 players suffering with Covid and asked fir a postponement which was granted. 19th December 2021 we had 7 cases of covid and asked for a postponement that was denied. There's hope for you yet.

The FA basically owed us one after cancelling the Leicester game in October/November and rearranging it at point where we then could not fulfil the Rennes game in the Euro conference and we’re thus eliminated.

Arsenal then had Partey suspended and Odegaard had Covid - they then loaned out a midfielder and 2 days later got the game called off as they did not have enough midfield cover - so the FA still owe us

Chelsea knew the rules when they splashed out all that money, no reason to change the rules just to suit them now.

A fair compromise would be to allow them to spend now as long as the trophies they won with Roman's money are scrubbed off the record books.

That’s the way I looked at that situation - we also had a game called off at Burnley due to their undersoil heating breaking - we were definitely due a soft decision from the FA given that all our oppo’s we’re getting time off.

We lost that rearranged game against Brighton as well
