They huffed, they puffed...and they kept the same game plan at half-time, whilst we changed and subsequently nullified theirs.1-0 Forest and an opportunity to move further up the table if we can improve our poor away form.
Last Game Overview:
We were under the cosh first half and made our one chance count. Second half I don't think they had a shot on target for 40 minutes whilst Surridge and Williams shot over the bar. Not to shabby as we only played a game 3 days prior.
The Good: Johnson's finish. He is not only stepping up but growing up in every game. The return of MGW.
The Bad: Gnonto kicking the ball into the crowd. How is that not a yellow.
The Ugly: The Leeds United fans and that woman with a blue rinse and her 10 years old daughters Leeds strip on.
Special Mention: Navas and the tactical genius of Cooper at HT (admittedly he was only up against Ted Lasso).

Only 3 wins in the last 10 and a whopping six losses. They've been a bit of a bogey team over the last 20 odd years (but then again, who hasn't!)
Injuries / Signings:
Navas, Ayew, Danilo and Wood all featured. With the form of Boly and McKenna's performance, Felipe might have to wait his turn.
Awoniyi, Henderson, Kouyate,Niakhate and Yates remain injured.
Knowing Cooper all 5 will start against Fulham e.g. MGW starting against Leeds.

Wolves winning is not good. Are there three teams worse than us in this division? Southampton yes but not sure who else. Maybe Bournemouth?

Have to admit Fulham have been better than us, Man City next week, we could be just above the relegation zone again. We looked ok for 20 minutes in the second half but that apart we were definitely second best today.

To lose your two CBs in the first five minutes shouldn’t be underestimated.
Most of our team couldn’t keep hold of the ball in the first half. Mangala, Wood and Worrall do not look good enough.
Felipe and Shelvey will both improve us. Better than what we have and both are starters imo.
A point at Fulham would’ve been great, but realistically it is just one point dropped. Man City is a free hit…admittedly we’d be lucky to not get pumped again.
I’m not too disappointed with that one. Let’s hope we get Awoniyi, Niakhate and Yates back asap. The latter two likely available for our next winnable game…West Ham (A).
