If Tranmere provided us with a lift, my first reaction was to think that we would find it heavily tested at Swindon, but when I looked more closely at Swindon's recent home record I realised it was not as good as I had expected.
They did lose their manager to Crawley not long ago which seemed odd and difficult to understand, but his position might have been uncomfortable because they have only won once at home since October. Relatively recently though, have beaten Northampton and Barrow away and the home win was a 5-0 against improving Grimsby and this still puts them just above us in the table.
They would be mistaken in anticipating a pounding from our attack unless the expert coaching which is not yet evident on their performances suddenly comes to fruition. However, the defence has looked better recently and provided RSW is not too exposed to their attacks there is a good chance that we might be able to limit their scoring opportunities.
It is possible that Lavery did not start v Tranmere because of injury and I'd like to see him over 90 minutes.
Perhaps a win is too much to hope for so I'll go for a draw - 1--1 (Lavery/Miller (G).

Pep Guardiola calling for the return of Paul Dickov! Perhaps we should do the same.

Nookie, that was the funniest comment I've ever heard from Guardiola! The sarcasm was wonderfull - the trouble over in the Colonies is that people do not understand sarcasm.
While I think Guardiola is a greart manager, I just hope Man City do not win the EPL this year,

My rose tinted spectacles have rose tinted spectacles on today. 3-1 to Rovers. G.Miller with the first if starting, Lavery if not.

Despite what DS said, Olowu is starting - perhaps fan pressure caused it!
Todd Miller can't be impressing in training or he might have got a start instead of Molyneux who has done little of late.
It might be an interesting game.

Good job DS does not listen to me! I'm glad Molyneux is finally off the mark. I liked what I saw of him in the pre-season, but he had never really looked the same after his injury against Rotherham.
I only saw parts of the game. I was watching Arsenal vs. Brentford on my desktop, but had the Rovers on my iPad, and turned to it when the commentary suggested some excitement, and I saw both goals.
At times we seemed much better than last week, but still our defence gives me fits at times. From what I saw, Olowu put in a solid performance.
We would have been unlucky to go in one down at halftime if that last minute free kick had gone in.

It was most heartening that they got straight out of the blocks and kept it up for the first time this season. Why this has not been the norm when it so fundamental has been difficult to understand up to now.
Why too, has it taken Schofield so much longer than everyone else in the world to assess which of his squad make up his best back three? Fancy dropping RSW!
This was the first game that has provided me with some real joy under this manager.

Donaldo, I agree, and maybe I should have watched the whole game (especially as Arsenal were not as good as they should be).
If we can take Barrow apart on Tuesday, it may lift my spirits to get excited again, but one, or maybe two, swallows do mot make a summer!

By the way, I was not wishing for us to let a goal in so my predicted score would win points! Our goal difference could become critical.
