MATCH FACTS
Head-to-head
Leeds have won just one of the past 18 Premier League meetings - a 1-0 triumph at Elland Road in 2002 (D6, L11).
The Whites are in danger of suffering consecutive home league defeats against Manchester United for the first time since 1976.
Leeds United
Leeds could equal their club record of nine Premier League games without a win in the same season, set in 1997.
They have won just two of their last 18 league matches (D6, L10).
The Yorkshire side have dropped 15 points from winning positions this season, the second most of any team in the league behind Leicester.
However, a win would equal their tally of four home victories in the whole of last season.
Wilfried Gnonto could become the third Leeds player to score home and away against Manchester United, emulating Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink and Mark Viduka.
Crysencio Summerville has three goals and an assist in his last five Premier League starts.
Manchester United
Manchester United have won just one of their last four Premier League matches (D2, L1), having won each of the previous four.
United are one short of their total of six away league victories last season.
All five of their away wins this campaign have been by a single-goal margin.
The Red Devils are on a run of five consecutive Premier League games without a clean sheet.
Marcus Rashford has scored 12 goals in 14 appearances since the World Cup - the most of any player in that period across the top five European leagues.
Bruno Fernandes' next league goal will be the 100th of his career.
David De Gea is poised to become the first non-British player, and first goalkeeper, to make 400 Premier League appearances for one club.
Come On Leeds, you've shown us what you are capable of and with the addition of the Elland Road 12th Man I can see us nicking this 2-1 with Jack and Willy on the scoresheet 😃

Once relegated, how many of our better players will
we lose? Gnonto, Meslier, Adams, McKennie, Wober,
Rods, Sin they'll all go. Prem and euro teams will
snap them all up. Then there's a few others who might
get moves to lower Prem/euro teams (Koch/Roca/
Jack/Summerville).
That will leave us with Bamford, Bill, Firpo, a bunch
of loanees coming back, and kids.
I don't see us walking back up to the Prem.

Cooper will stay. But, Rasmus and Aaronson will bail.

Think we're going down. Everyone else is capable of picking up wins whereas we just can't. We have actual back to back cup finals coming up with Everton and Southampton. 4 points the absolute minimum frankly.

Once relegated...

£uxk me, I have no idea why that performance has people resigned to relegation. It may happen, but there's lots of points to play for and I genuinely believe we're better than bottom 3.
Everton and Southampton up next, let's see what happens.

Shaun, we never invested in a striker like we knew
we needed to. You reap what you sow. And we're barren.

Sol, I thought we were the better team by quite a way.
BUT.
We do not have a striker who can put away the chances
that we create. We do not have a manager who can
change games with tactical switches and subs (ten Hag
won that game today with his subs and tactics).
Rod out for several weeks kills us.
Bamford has no first touch and can't score.
Rutter, I'm not sure what he is?
We have Gnonto (who is brilliant). We have Sin and
Cree who are both very good. But, sadly Sin is as glass
as Bamford is. I like Jack. He has tons of possession.
But, he doesn't create enough clear cut chances. And
then we go back to not having a finisher in the middle.
Our midfield is much better with McKennie. Adams is
great. Maybe Roca can help when he's fit again. And
our backline looks far better with Wober in it.
We have possession and we can look very good.
However, only one thing wins games - goals. We don't
score when we should. Man U and many other teams
this season score off of very limited opportunities. It's
killing us slowly. I don't think Alfred the Great changes
any of that. I too think we're relegated.

Next two games are massive. Can't fully judge it after today as were playing a top side. Need six points from Everton and Southampton

It just feels we are destined to go down as we can't even get a win against Man U playing probably the worst they have played all season...
it's like this defeat is the straw that has broken the camels back.
If we beat Everton next week maybe this sense of resignation will lift but at the moment it just feels like we will be one of the 3 relegated sides this season and it's just become a joyless depressing experience supporting Leeds.
Maybe I'll feel differently tomorrow but at this present moment today's defeat has rubbed salt into our already gaping wounds and the prospect of some unknown entity managing us doesn't help.

Let’s be real - 1pt from Everton and 3 from Southampton.

What I'd give to have Spurs problems or even Chelsea or Liverpool's blips are nothing compared to ours.
Then I suppose Huddersfield and Cardiff wouldn't mind our issues... it's all relative.
