In the context that they hadn't a clue who was going to replace him.
Or if they did have an idea no indication about whether the target/s would accept the role.
The coaching team aren't greatly different to that which was in charge a month ago and we still haven't won in the league since god knows when.
Marsch wasn't the answer but worse than that, the uncertainty and lack of direction is what will kill us.
Should Marsch have been sacked?

Orta is being rumoured to be doing a loose cannon.
I reckon his time is up. Clean house this summer and
get rid of him, Radz, and most of all, Kinnear.

i couldn’t agree more re Orta. He has made so many poor signings and cost the club millions. i’m surprised Radrizzani has kept him so long.

Instead of thinking ahead, it looks as though Radz and Orta suddenly realised Marsch had to go, without making contingency plans. Could it be that a similar thing happened when they sacked Bielsa – and Marsch was simply a knee jerk reaction to keep everyone happy and prevent them looking as incompetent as they do now?

We know the club had been in contact with Marsch for months by that point. He had been lined up for ages.
I think that's more worrying.

Ha, that’s true!

Gerrard and McAllister would be my choice for a dedicated attempt to pull the club away from the dreaded drop. McA's link to the club with 294 appearances must count for something.

Ultimately, as majority shareholder, the responsibility for this mess lies with Radrizzani.
In the meantime, we have a relegation fight on our hands. Whoever ends up as our coach, temporary or permanent, they need to pull a rabbit out of the hat to steady the ship and secure the wins that will keep us up. This starts with Everton - and then we must absolutely demolish Southampton - nothing else will do.
The management of the club has been appalling. Would like to learn Bielsa's thoughts on this.

Yes, I think we need a new man in place by Thursday at the latest and I actually wouldn't be opposed to Gerrard and Gary Mac in being entrusted with the task of steering us to safety. I don't think it's fair to expect
Skubala to be able to pull rabbits out of the hat for us.

Gerrard and Mac until the end of the season I definitely think would work. For those too young to remember, Mac was a legend as a Leeds player and even did a short spell as manager.

Where he lost us a Wembley final against Donny Rovers … awful day (I was there)😱.
Anyway, yes, we could do a lot worse than Gerrard and McAllister but I hope we land Iraola or Martino instead.

Fan power was the main reason he went. I expected him to get until after the Southampton game but they flicked the switch early due to the flack the fans were giving them and him.
I don’t think they were actively looking for anyone else as I think it was a knee jerk reaction.
Nailed on to beat us when they come to ER now.

As a neutral just seems like weird timing after backing him in what seemed to be a decent January transfer window.
Either you sack him before that or give him some time with the players he wanted, but I guess if he's lost the dressing room you don't have much choice.
