I’ve just been booted off from the Derby match thread for asking a perfectly legit question! So here it is again for Forest fans to comment because they’re probably mature enough to handle it
The question is how can Derby fans claim to have a rivalry with Forest but then apparently not be even slightly annoyed Forest are playing 2 divisions above in the PL and signing some pretty decent players?
This isn’t a wum, I’m genuinely bemused by some Derby fans I know saying life is great and they’re not remotely bothered by Forests success? Surely if you’re proper rivals you’re not happy when you see how well your rival is doing. Conversely Forest fans must be having a chuckle at Derby in league one despite having sympathy over the financial situation
Question is - now the clubs aren’t in the same league, is the rivalry still there?

You guessed it. He’s probably the weirdest person on this forum and he’s up against some stiff competition

They're a very sensitive bunch on the Derby board.
As for Igor, he is a boring, attention seeking cretin. No doubt, he'll have to log out and in again to read this comment.

Their sense of humour followed Crooked Mel out the door, also they're tardy tw@ts

😂 It’s the whole ‘we don’t even think about Forest, we don’t care about them’ that makes me laugh. As if you’re not going to be annoyed your rivals are playing PL football while you’re preparing for a tie against Lincoln City

Let’s face it, they probably were gutted last year, but in reality, we’re now worlds apart.
We’re both looking likely to stay up, whereas they’ll be lucky to stay in the play-offs…and even luckier to win them.
Just like Rooney they have a preference for old pro’s. A few injuries to those and it’s another season in League One.

I think they must be confusing rivalry with jealousy.
To be rivals you have to be striving for the same goal which clearly we are not.

Forest have always been the bigger and better club by a mile. They’d be better off focussing on a more local rivalry with Chesterfield Town
