Is this turning into another Rudiger repeat?
I expected Mount to be one of the last to be spoken about as leaving Chelsea, having been with us for so long. But it seems more & more likely he will go now with links emerging to other teams like Liverpool and now ManU, plus also the possibility of a direct swap with Athletico for Felix.
I can't believe it's money as James quickly signed a new long term contract, or maybe Mount feels he doesn't fit into the new system - his current form isn't great?
What's going on?

hes been poor for a year and a half now bar the odd game.
Doesn't deserve a new contract especially at the wages he's apparently asking for.
however, we do not know the whole story here.

he does fill one of the homegrown both for the club and the country slots however which is gonna be something of concern after the latest signings

There are always more stories on players nearing the end of their contracts than I used to listen to on jackanory as a kid. I tend to treat them just the same.
