Lee Mason sacked - VAR standards improve?

Lee Mason leaves PGMOL by ‘mutual consent’.

Clearly incompetent and bizarrely incapable of reviewing an incident with multiple replays… the right decision.

Would like to think this is part of an improvement of VAR as well.

Puts to rest any argument that there’s a lack of accountability for referees and VAR officials, right?

Hopefully they can find a referee outside Manchester to replace him.

Why would they look for people outside Manchester?

Oh look. TOOR is trolling.

The league is dominated by referees from Manchester so much so that they select referees from Manchester to referee United and City games, where there's obviously the potential for a conflict of interest.

Man coty had a 79% winrate with him as the ref 😂

United have been suffering for years and nothing happens. Arsenal get one bad decision against them and heads roll.

The fact you believe that’s a problem with professional refereeing shows how clueless you are.

What is it with other refs? And do you know how many games?

I read that it was 26 wins from 33 games.

It's hardly shocking though. Over the previous 5 seasons Man City have a 77% win rate in the Premier league overall so their record under Mason doesn't have any major deviation from their overall record.

Thought that might be the case.

Would love to see the stats for the whole league as well.

All refs are biased against Arsenal, aren’t they?

Based on today Arsenal are clearly benefitting from referee bias.

Disgusting.
