It’s not all his fault though, is it? I’m assuming it wasn’t his idea to buy every available player out there? Poor bloke, by the time he’s even finished reading what players he has available it leaves very little time to work out what to actually do with them.
I’d be asking questions of the owner, you’re all too busy getting so excited at how much he’s spending, and not actually considering that he’s actually making things worse.

A rarity, but I agree totally. Anyone can spend loads of money if the have it. Our owners have not shown any level of competence, everything seems so rushed and knee jerk. I am yet to feel the vision and strategy

Nothing is ever one persons fault but potter is now the main reason for the issues.
He yesterday took off our best player by a country mile to play mason mount as a false 9. Mount was having a poor game.
An unforgivable decision

Some of those signings may work out later on under better coach
Enzo Kante Chucky midfield for example

Reading a lot about the signings lately - they are all good quality players. Any decent coach could get at least a goal a game out of one of Sterling, Felix, Madueke, Mudryk, Fofana ...
The problem is that Potter is a mid-table coach. His Btighton were easy on the eye but never scored goals and had eye-catching results by scoring a goal and digging in. His style of football is not a winning style. Pretty patterns of play are all well and good but there is little end result when all those pretty patterns are in yur own half. Big players need a big manager to coach them.
We should have gone for Pochettino. He too has a football "philosophy", coaches patterns and style but importantly has more substance. People will point to PSG but I suggest that the problem there is what we had 10 years ago - how to please box office names. Appointing Potter was a folly, a nice romantic gesture, allowing us all to get behind a less experienced young British coach, but it was obviously a mistake. I cringe every time we are linked to Brighton players or staff. We are Chelsea, a "supposed" world football power, not a smalltown club on the south coast. I welcome building a team with style but not a team that can't compete with Southampton or Fulham. If they were isolated incidents, I could stomach it more, but week in week out we know that Potter just doesn't have it.

Poch bottles everything he touches. Are you sure he’d have done better? We may find out…

Especially as Mount is one of our least effective players by a country mile currently...
