Many questions remain unanswered about Bielsa’s exit and how long they had Jesse lined up for and why. Was it because Bielsa refused to sign long term deals? And they needed a back up plan? Or were they gonna pull the trigger anyway? And hadn’t Bielsa earned the right to try to fight through a difficult period?
Irrespective of that, it feels now that the board sacked Jesse as a reaction to fan backlash. No plan in place, just to try to calm the waters. They clearly thought they could figure out a replacement on the fly.
When ‘white smoke’ didn’t materialize, the quick fix reaction to discontent was to install Skubala for a couple of games.
And now, after thinking Skubala could possibly dig them out of a hole after two decent performances against Man U, they are back to possibly scratching around trying to find someone as the backlash is back on after yesterday.
It’s all reactionary stuff. Nothing seems pro active?
It’s like they are desperate to crawl over the line , in the Premier League and then get out of dodge.
I’m coming over from Canada for the Brighton game. I feel so disappointed that I will be seeing my team play in the Premier League for the first time in 27 years and they will most likely be bottom, with little hope.

I find it mad that you didn't have someone lined up to replace him. When Jesse got the sack I thought you must have someone decent lined up. Might as well let him stay in place and see how he can do with the new players whilst you get your ducks lined up.
