We are screwed

I don't agree with why any of our league games have been postponed but many games is a nice issue to have.

The PTS should be awarded to the highest ranked team. 😂

For us fans this is a great 'problem'.

In a week's time there is a possibility we could only have league games left for the rest of the season. Let's enjoy the ride and see where it takes us.

That's a good point actually. Imagine how flat we could suddenly feel if we lost to Barca, Newcastle and West Ham.

I'm not saying that will happen, and current form suggests that it won't, but in football you never know. I'm confident enough in our ability to make top 4 from here even with all the games. Even if it won't be that pretty in some games I'm sure we can get over the line. I'd be more concerned if we were just about in the top 4 but we do have a nice cushion at present.

Pretty much this. Tonight will be a close one. Barca missing a few key players but those who come in to replace them aren't exactly rubbish are they?

League cup final is end of the road in that competition regardless obviously.

It's actually the FA cup now that probably matters the least. The Westham game is 3 days before we go to Anfield so personally I hope we rest a few to give ourselves a great chance to end Liverpool's season once and for all. Knowing this manager though he will go strong in every single game.

You'd rather have too many games than too few.

I'd argue that ETH has to utilise the squad players more in some games.

I'd argue that if we win tonight and on Sunday that he should make changes in the FA Cup and Europa games as at least the no trophy monkey would be off of our back.

Tonight I think we'll pretty much see this:

Bruno

Weghorst

On Sunday I could possibly see some or, less likely, all of AWB, Sabitzer, McT, Sancho and Garnacho come into the first XI. What I would expect is that over the two games it's the players above that will be involved.

Against West Ham, presuming our two previous games have gone OK, I would expect the likes of Lindelof, Maguire, Malacia, Martial (if fit) to get some good minutes with our more heavily used players, or those who can have fitness issues (Varane) being rested.

I'm looking forward to seeing how EtH uses his squad and how we adapt.

We now have two each LB, RB, CM, RW,
LW, CF, DM, CB If everyone is fit.

So I hope Erik carries on with trying to win every game and using subs and the rotation of say one player and see where that takes us.

Come to think of it I wouldn't be too surprised seeing Fred come in for Weghorst if Busquets is playing.

Some people are never happy. Honestly wonder why some people follow this sport, do you get any enjoyment at all from it?

Enjoy the ride. It's great having so many games and if we lose a few towards the end of the season because of fatigue or whatever then so what? It's still been a brilliant season to follow and it's been filled with great games, goals and results thst I'm getting to enjoy with my lad. Trophy or no trophy at the end of the season, I honestly couldn't really care less.
