What are we thinking? After last night, we shouldn't truthfully fear any team. Although I'd rather not come up against Arsenal later on in the competition.

Decent side but also 22 points behind Barca. We should be beating them. I just feel the Europa could get less importance to us as time goes on.

Beating Barca over 2 legs was more important than where it actually got us if that makes sense.

Hard to believe how much more football we'd have to play to win the Europa, having already navigated a group and knocked out Barça over two legs. We're closer to the FA Cup final and we've only beaten Everton and Reading at home

Would be nice just to draw a non-Spanish team for a change. The majority of them are functional and dull these days too, it's a horribly low scoring league. So we can expect a slightly worse version of the bland Sociedad unfortunately.

Yes, it's mad. If we win the Carabao Cup, advance in the FA Cup and get 2 good league results beforehand I'd definitely rest a lot of first teamers and take my chances.

Yeh, it might be the case of trying to progress in the Europa by getting the result in one leg and playing a weakened team in the return fixture and hoping for a draw.

Surely we can rest a good amount of players against Betis and still be able to get to the second half of the second leg without being blown away and out of the tie? Just have some big players and match winners on the bench if needed.

De Gea
Dalot/AWB Lindelof Martinez Malacia
McT Sabitzer
Antony Sancho Garnacho
Weg/Martial

Could have a chance, especially if players that need minutes are trying to impress.

Keep Casemiro, Varane, Rashford and Bruno out of this unless needed.

Are any of the big clubs allowed to enter their U21s in this competition ?

think Betis have a decent chance tbh
