Humza, could be ok. He'll be slated for his health record by those ignoring his counter part in England has done a far worse job. Whether that's because he did a good job or because he did a less worse job who knows. Decent guy, strong leader.

I’d love to know on what measures you think Humza has done a far better job than his counterpart in Eng? My sis is a senior NHS consultant doctor up here … she’d love to know as well.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I'll start with I'm not a fan of his in case you think I'm being SNP defensive but for a start, no strike action, better wages across all roles in Scotland than NHS England and Wales. Remember we are hamstrung by the pot given by Westminster.
I might also be familiar with the inner workings of NHS Scotland and the drive to improve services. The support from Scottish Government is excellent despite the increasingly tight budget.
He has done as good a job as anyone could do in the tight confines allowed of him. England and Wales is a bigger mess.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
'Hamstrung'? Can't the SNP government raise money?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Who do propose they tax to make up for the shortfall they don't get from Westminster?

They do by taxing people more. Which is fair to be honest with the extra funds being properly used.
Who would have thought that increasing taxes could potentially improve services? Now if only the respective governments had even the most basic of talent that facilitated how to govern even remotely well. There’s a thought
----------------------------------------------------------------------
*taxing some people more, and some people less. People lower down the income scale pay a lower rate of tax in Scotland than in England, but those towards the higher end pay a high rate rate of tax. In effect income tax in Scotland is slightly more progressive than rUK.

I don’t think we can tax the rich enough, frankly.
Why shouldn’t they pay disproportionately for the massive advantage and privilege life has handed them? The little man can’t get a look in for those benefiting from such an exclusionary system.

As an retired staff nurse I would like to point out that there were far too many incompetent nurses moved out of the wards and promoted way above their capabilities.Useless in the wards but they couldn’t get. rid of them so they got into positions of management.Total shambles because everyone knew that they were hopeless and they drove morale down .I wouldn’t trust the SNP with my cat far less running a country ,By the way I’ve voted SNP for over 40 years but never again.
