Looking forward to West Ham

According to Laurie Whitwell of The Athletic the team boarded the flight at 10pm to Manchester, without any major celebrations, for today’s training, with attentions already turning to Wednesday’s FA Cup tie against West Ham.

Keeping in mind how tough the fixtures have been and with Liverpool coming up on the weekend, what would be your preferred 11 for Wednesday night?

I'd go for:

DDG

Dalot
Maguire
Lindelof
Malacia

Sabitzer
Fred

Pellistri
Sancho
Garnacho

Wout

There's no way it will be that weak. ETH takes every competition very seriously.

Varane to get a rest for sure and maybe Rashford on the bench if Martial is fit to start. That will be it. Casemiro will start as he's just had his break with the suspension.

I highly doubt Pellistri will start given he's played about half an hour all season.

I'd start Martinez with Lindelof. Having Martinez or Shaw at LCB is crucial to how we play.

Casemiro has missed 4 games though suspension lately so he should be fresh also.

I do think ETH should be resting Bruno, Rashford, Varane and Shaw from the start for this one.

Would be nice to start trying to get Sabitzer and Casemiro working together, think it would offer more than him and Fred as a duo. Especially when we have possession, Sab is just tidier than Fred.

I think he’ll rotate a few, maybe 3 or 4 changes from the starting line up yesterday.

Will Westham go full strength? Not so sure they will. I think they will prioritize the Conference League.

Agreed and they still need to keep picking up points in the league too to ensure safety.

Casemiro for 60 mins against West Ham and McT the rest of the way. Hopefully we have the game wrapped up in the first half.

Varane rest. Bruno, ideally rest too but idk.
